List of works commissioned by the Royal Philharmonic Society

The Royal Philharmonic Society has commissioned new works to composers since 1813,[1] and among the pieces commissioned are Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, Felix Mendelssohn's Symphony No.4 and Antonín Dvořák's Symphony No.8.[1]
